British actor JOSEPH FIENNES’ life has been turned upside down since moving out to Hollywood – he compares his new Los Angeles existence to a “witness protection” program.
The Shakespeare In Love star moved to Los Angeles to set up home with his then-lover, model Maria Dolores Dieguez, after landing regular TV work on sci-fi drama hit Flash Forward.
And Fiennes claims living in L.A. is a completely different experience than his existence in the U.K. – because he has started afresh in a every aspect of his life.
He tells Britain’s Now magazine, “I feel like I’m in witness protection. I’ve got a new wife, a new bank account, a new car and a new home. It’s been exhilarating, but also exhausting.”
The reason why I started Joseph Fiennes Web was that I thought Joe deserved a complete high-quality website so that the world could see how special he is. I still believe that, but at this point in my life, I just don’t have the time or energy to run two sites (I also have a fan site for Sam Rockwell).
Therefore, my run as webmistress of JFW has come to an end. I’ve put the site up for adoption at fan-sites.org, so if you know how to run a fan site and are interested in keeping the site up and running, please do apply. I’d hate to see all this effort go to waste.
I hope you guys had as much fun as I did.

Joseph Fiennes will star in the title role of Trevor Nunn’s Cyrano de Bergerac. Joseph will play the soldier, poet, philosopher and duellist who’s unable to win the love of exquisite Roxanne because of his grotesque nose.
Nunn also directed Joseph in Love’s Labour’s Lost during his time as artistic director of the National Theater.
Previews are as of May 8th, performances from 14th to the 30th of May.

Thanks for always stopping by and for supporting the site. Running a fan site is not an easy task and I have you guys to thank for making it a hell of a lot easier!
