Joseph Fiennes is engaged to his model girlfriend, it has been reported.

The Shakespeare In Love star has been dating Swiss-born, Spanish speaking model Maria Dolores Dieguez for nearly three years and close friends of the couple have apparently confirmed to the Daily Mail he has proposed.

Rumours the 38-year-old actor – younger brother of actor Ralph Fiennes and director Martha Fiennes and cousin of explorer Sir Ranulph – had popped the question began circulating when 25-year-old Maria began wearing a sparkling diamond ring shortly after moving into Joseph’s Notting Hill home last year.
