2,000 Feet Away, the debut drama by Anthony Weigh, which stars Joseph Fiennes, Ian Hart and Phyllis Logan, has extended its run at the Bush until 19 July.
The extra week of performances has been added due to popular demand, and extra tickets have been made available for all forthcoming performances.

Joseph was seen taking a walk with his girlfriend Maria Dolores in Notting Hill, where he lives in London, this Tuesday (June 17). 4 pictures of this day have been added to the gallery, and I’ve replaced some 2,000 Feet Away stage pictures with untagged ones. Click the links below to see them:

I have recently added 8 pictures of Joe and his co-stars on stage during his new play, 2,000 Feet Away, at the Bush Theater, in London. Unfortunately, most of them are water-marked, but they’re still worth seeing!

The Guardian has a pretty generous review of the play on today’s paper. Click here to read it.

There’s a new article on Joe in The Guardian! He talks about 2,000 Feet Away (his new play), life after Shakespeare in Love and trying to escape typecasting in Hollywood. Take a look:
Why won’t Joseph Fiennes make life easy for himself? As he prepares to star in an explosive play about paedophilia, he tells Phil Hoad why he’s glad he turned his back on Hollywood
Joseph Fiennes claims he doesn’t remember the look on Harvey Weinstein’s face when he turned down a five-picture deal with Miramax in the late 90s in order to do more theatre. He does, however, remember his reasoning. “I could see it in the piles of scripts: I’m not going to get the roles I want, but how do I challenge that? I wanted freedom.”
Screen thesps Joseph Fiennes, Ian Hart and Phyllis Logan will return to the stage to headline “2000 Feet Away” at the Bush Theater, London’s 86-seat new writing powerhouse.
Bush theater a.d. Josie Rourke will helm the play, a debut from British-Australian dramatist Anthony Way. Set in Eldon, Iowa — home of Grant Wood’s painting “American Gothic” — it is a response to Iowa state law barring registered sex offenders from residing less than 2000 feet of where children congregate.
Other confirmed casting includes Kirsty Bushell and Roger Sloman. The play runs June 11-July 12.
