New details surface on the possible engagemente of Joseph Fiennes and Maria Dolores Dieguez:

“It took three months for Joseph to persuade Maria to go on a date with him,” a source said.

“She kept refusing his advances because she thought he was just a frisky actor. But she eventually agreed to fly to South Africa, where he was filming, and they’ve since fallen deeply in love.

“He is learning Spanish for her and studies every day. He’s quite good and she’s been touched by his efforts.”
